Suman Manna completed his BSc (2012-2015) from Midnapore College (under Vidyasagar University). He enrolled in the Integrated PhD programme of IISER Pune in 2016. He graduated with a PhD in April 2023. His research project was focused on Design, Synthesis and Evaluation of Enhancing Cellular Persulfides Through Artificial Substrate Of 3-MST.

Anand Kumar completed his M. S. (Pharm) Medicinal Chemistry (2012-2014) from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Hyderabad (NIPER), B. Pharm (2007-2011) Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He enrolled in the PhD programme of IISER Pune in 2016. He graduated with a PhD in April 2023. His research project was focused on Design, Synthesis and Evaluation of Bioreductively Activated Fluoroquinolone Prodrugs.

Pooja Kumari completed B.S M.S degree from IISER Bhopal. She enrolled in the PhD programme of IISER Pune in 2015. She graduated with a PhD in May 2022. Her research project was focused on DEVELOPMENT OF IODONIUM-BASED GRAM-NEGATIVE ANTIBACTERIAL COMPOUNDS AND TARGET IDENTIFICATION USING A CHEMOPROTEOMICS APPROACH.

Prerona Bora completed B.Sc. in Chemistry from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She enrolled in the PhD programme of IISER Pune in August 2016. She graduated with a PhD in January 2022. Her research project was focused on Design, Synthesis and Evaluation of Stimuli-responsive small molecule persulfidating agents

Amogh Kulkarni completed B.Sc. in Chemistry from DES Fergusson College, Pune. He enrolled in the Integrated PhD programme of IISER Pune in August 2012. He graduated with a PhD in January 2020. His research project was focused on Design, Synthesis and Evaluation of Thiol-reactive small molecule probes for profiling the proteome of pathogenic bacteria.
He did his Postdoc in EPFL, Switzerland with Prof. Yimon Aye.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma
Ph. D. (2014-2019)
Ajay Kumar Sharma obtained B.Sc. degree from Kota University, Rajasthan, India and M.Sc Chemistry from Central university of Rajasthan, India. He Completed his Ph.D from IISER Pune, India during 2014-2019. During Ph.D., he worked on the generation of the reactive species using light as a stimulus.
Current Position:
Post-doctoral fellow, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA. He is working on alteration of immunogenic responses to target and image cancer tissues.

Dr. Ravikumar Govindan
Ph. D. (2013-2019)
Ravikumar received his Bachelor’s and Master´s degree in Chemistry from Government Arts College, Salem (2007-10) and Madurai Kamaraj University (2010-12), respectively. Then he worked short term at SRF Private Limited, India, on the synthesis of aliphatic fluorochemicals. Then he moved to IISER Pune to pursue his doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Harinath Chakrapani (2013-19) with CSIR fellowship, where he worked on the development of small organic molecules for controlled generation and monitoring of short-lived biological species such as reactive nitrogen (NO), oxygen (ROS) and sulfur (H2S, SO2) species. In June 2019, he joined the GBernardes group at iMM as a Postdoctoral Researcher with FCT fellowship.
Current Position:
Dr. Ravikumar Govindan is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher in the GBernardes group (https://gbernardeslab.com) at Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes (iMM) Lisboa (Apr 2020-present).

Dr. Kundansingh Pardeshi
Ph. D. (2011-2018)
Kundansingh has completed his Bachelors (2005–2008) and Masters (2008–2010) in Chemistry from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He obtained his PhD in Medicinal chemistry at IISER Pune (2011-2018). His research work was focused on design, synthesis and evaluation of bioactivable organic donors of Sulfur dioxide (SO2).

Dr. Kavita Sharma
Ph. D. (2010-2016)
Research Associate (Feb’2020-) in the HC lab. Completed post graduation in Drug Chemistry from Ahmednagar college, Ahmednagar (2009). Joined IISER pune for doctoral research (2010) and worked on synthesis and evaluation of bioactivable nitric oxide donors. PhD degree was awarded in May 2016. Worked in JNCASR, Bengaluru (Nov’2018-Dec’2019) as research associate and was involved in synthesis of structural variants of a neuroprotective agent.

Currently postdoctoral fellow, Siddhesh Kamat's Lab, IISER Pune, India.

Vinayak obtained Ph.D. in the field of chemistry and biology of reactive species at IISER Pune in October 2016.
Current Position:
He has joined the Toscano Group at Johns Hopkins University as a postdoctoral fellow, where he is studying the fundamental chemistry and biology of signaling molecules including nitroxyl (HNO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and related species.
